Public Information Opportunities
The Florida's Turnpike provided a number of public involvement opportunities during the study that resulted in the approval of the 1998 Suncoast Parkway – Project 2 State Environmental Impact Report (SEIR).
The Florida's Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) is in the process of designing the Suncoast Parkway 2 project and will continue to provide the community with information about this project, via this Web site and periodic newsletters, as well as public involvement opportunities through community meetings, a design Public Information Meeting and a design Public Hearing.
A Design Public Information Meeting is scheduled for July 24, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Citrus County National Guard Armory, 8551 W. Venable St., Crystal River, FL 34429. For more details please click here. We encourage you to check this Web site from time to time for information on the progress of the project, as well as for notice of other public meetings.
